Karina Patel, PA-C

Karina Patel grew up in the Temple, Texas area. She attended the University of Texas at Austin to complete her undergraduate studies in Biology. Hook’em Horns! There, she participated in several volunteer and medical associations which introduced her to the role of a Physician Assistant on the care team. Before going to graduate school, she worked as a medical assistant in a family medicine practice. 

 

Karina attended the Physician Assistant program at The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. Go Cru! She completed her clinical rotations within the Baylor Scott & White system and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

 

After completing her PA program, she joined the team at Texas Movement Disorder Specialists and began training under Dr. Soileau to pursue a career in the field of movement disorders.

Karina is excited to be on this journey with you. She is determined to work with you on your goals and provide support and encouragement. Outside of the practice, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exploring new cuisines, and traveling to new places.
